How we work, in plain words.
What we do
Nine Moons plans and arranges postnatal support. We listen to what you need, write a plan, introduce the people who will help, and keep the plan running through the weeks after birth.
The people we introduce
Everyone we introduce is independent. We have met and referenced them, but the care they give is their own: your arrangement is with them, they charge their own rates, and they are responsible for their own work. If someone falls through, finding cover is ours to sort.
Our fee
Our fee is for the planning, finding and arranging, and is agreed in writing before anything is booked. The practitioners are paid directly. We add nothing on top.
Changes and cancellations
Plans can change — tell us and we will adjust. Each practitioner has their own cancellation terms, which we pass on before anything is booked.
Not a medical service
We are not a medical or emergency service and nothing here is medical advice. If you are worried about your health or your baby’s, contact your midwife or GP, call NHS 111, or in an emergency call 999.
Liability
We take care over who we introduce, but their care is theirs. Our liability to you is limited to the fee you have paid us, except where the law does not allow that.
